Despite having plenty of cap flexibility, New England is looking like it will opt for a cheaper and younger quarterback since Wentz's massive extension kicks in next season, which will soon be the responsibility of whichever team trades for the former first-round pick.
While you can never count out the Patriots or Bill Belichick, it seems as though this is one less team that will throw its hat in the ring for Wentz.
