Carolina Panthers Odds Swing for Week 3 Game vs Cardinals After Cam Newton Injury News
By Zach Brunner

After a disappointing Week 2 performance on "Thursday Night Football", the Carolina Panthers opened Week 3 as the 2.5-point favorites over rookie quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals.
However, following multiple missed practices from Cam Newton due to a re-aggravation of his foot injury, the betting spread has since completely flipped, now favoring the Cardinals by 2.5 points at home, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Pretty obvious he's not playing at this point.
Carolina Panthers Injury Report
Newton has looked horrible this season, with 34 percent of his passes being deemed uncatchable. It was the Week 2 game against Tampa Bay where he looked noticeably injured. After missing three straight practices, the vibe all week in Carolina is that Kyle Allen will be the one taking snaps for the Panthers this Sunday.
With the quarterback news unraveling all week, the line has slowly been trending in Arizona's favor. Starting as 2.5-point underdogs, the Cardinals were 1-point favorites Wednesday before moving to 2.5-point favorites by Thursday afternoon.

Carolina Panthers Backup QB
Allen signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in 2018, and the former Texas A&M and Houston QB made one start and played in two games for the Panthers last season. Allen performed well too, completing 20 of his 31 passing attempts (65.4 percent) for 266 yards and two TDs through the air to go along with one TD on the ground.
Even though all signs appear to point to Allen filling in as Newtown's replacement this Sunday, the Panthers also used a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on former Florida and West Virginia starting QB Will Grier. Grier tossed for an astounding 7,354 passing yards with 71 passing TDs to 20 interceptions during his two years with the Mountaineers in Morgantown.
The Cardinals currently have one loss and a tie under their first-year QB and head coach tandem, however they did put up a strong fight in their 6-point loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2.
Which game(s) are you targeting in Week 3? ?

With two inexperienced QBs likely at the helm for each team Sunday, it should be one of the more interesting matchups to watch as each side fights for its first win of the season.
