Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger drew plenty of attention for his play toward the end of the 2020 season, and not in a good way. It's clear Father Time is starting to catch up to Big Ben, and that was enough to make the Steelers question bringing him back as starter in 2021.

However, Roethlisberger is in fact back to lead Pittsburgh's offense. And defensive tackle Cam Heyward thinks his QB will prove the doubters wrong.

Heyward openly admits to being "frustrated" by the less-than-glowing comments that have surrounded the quarterback. The DT thinks Big Ben is getting written off despite enjoying success throughout his career.

"When I hear the badmouthing about him being a non-great quarterback and that everybody is ready to elevate other quarterbacks, I'm like, 'what have they done?' This guy is a proven winner, but yet we're ready to discount him."

Roethlisberger was productive throughout the 2020 campaign, totaling 3,803 yards, 33 TDs and 10 INTs. However, his play seriously fell off after the Steelers' 11-0 start and played a role in them fizzling out in the Wild Card round.

With the Steelers' elite receiving corps and new running back Najee Harris in town, Roethlisberger has plenty of weapons available to help him have a bounce-back year.
