Browns Rookie Wins Over Cleveland Fans With Pair of Perfect Tweets

After impressing at the Senior Bowl, former Oklahoma Sooners defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey heard his name called by the Cleveland Browns in the 2022 NFL Draft. Cleveland drafted the disruptive run-defender in the fourth round, at No. 108 overall.
Like many rookies realizing their lifelong dreams come true, Winfrey is clearly enjoying his new venture into pro football. Just take a look at his Twitter account.
Winfrey has character on Twitter, and he's already winning over the city of Cleveland with a pair of perfect tweets.

Winfrey got the fun started by changing his profile picture to feature Cleveland's hero LeBron James. He chose a picture of King James channeling his best "playoff LeBron" mode. Playing up to the special place LeBron holds in the hearts of Cleveland fans is always a smart idea.
He then followed up this new profile picture with a simple message, but one that the "Dawg Pound" ate up. "I had no clue browns fans were this crazy," tweeted Winfrey with the angry face and goat emoji.
The responses were flooded with love from the Browns faithful. The only thing Winfrey could have done better goes back to his profile picture. He chose a picture of LeBron wearing a Miami Heat jersey. No doubt this would have looked better with "Playoff LeBron" in Cleveland.
Winfrey is having fun and the Browns fans seem to know it. In seriousness, he enters a defensive tackle room that is ripe with opportunities. Jordan Elliott and former Jacksonville Jaguar Taven Bryan are under contract and listed above Winfrey on the depth chart. But, the pair has both failed to live up to expectations early on considering Bryan was a first round pick and Elliott went in the third.
Browns fans should pay close attention to Winfrey this season, especially on Twitter, because he's clearly in for some more social media gems.
