Browns GM Weighs In on Odell Beckham Jr.‘s Future With Team

The Cleveland Browns had a standout 2020 campaign, going 11-5, making the playoffs, and even getting a playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, star wideout Odell Beckham Jr. suffered an ACL tear in Week 7, and the team's success without him has prompted discussion about his future in Cleveland.
Browns GM Andrew Barry recently gave his thoughts on OBJ's status ahead of the 2021 season.
#Browns GM Andrew Berry asked if anything has changed with Odell Beckham since he last talked to the media. Says no and Beckham is "a dynamic player who can be incredibly productive in this system, so we're looking forward to getting him back healthy."

Barry seemingly cut down any discussions about a potential trade with his comments. The Browns sound completely happy with Beckham and hope his availability in 2021 will boost the team's chances to contend.
In OBJ's six full games for the Browns this season, he grabbed 23 receptions for 319 yards and 3 TDs. He had a solid debut with the team in 2019 as well, racking up 133 catches for 1,035 yards and 4 TDs.
With Baker Mayfield taking a positive step this past season, the duo should be able to have a huge year together once reunited on the field. And with over $25 million in cap space, the Browns have plenty of money to fill out this budding contender with pieces that could push them over the top in 2021.
