There's no question that the Cleveland Browns' playmakers are hurting. Cleveland's Week 6 injury report featured both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, and now the team must prepare for another game on a very short week.

Cleveland is readying for a Week 7 Thursday Night Football clash with the Denver Broncos and initial reports suggest they may be without both Chubb and Hunt.

Nick Chubb Injury Update

Chubb continues to deal with a calf ailment that held him from playing in Week 6. As a result, the Browns had to rely almost exclusively on Hunt in the run game.

Cleveland managed a season-low 73 rushing yards in Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals as they were playing catch-up for much of the afternoon.

Kareem Hunt Injury Update

Not only was Hunt limited heading into Week 6, but he picked up another potential injury during the contest. The one-time Pro Bowler left Sunday's contest in the fourth quarter with an apparent calf injury and did not return.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Cleveland's coaching staff will begin the week preparing as if both Chubb and Hunt are potentially absent on Thursday.

Currently, the Browns are only 4.5-point home favorites against the 3-3 Broncos on FanDuel Sportsbook.
