Although there were bright spots for the Denver Broncos in 2021, a 7-10 record caused them to miss the NFL playoffs for the sixth consecutive season. Now, they'll turn to free agency in hopes of getting closer to a postseason return.

Free Agency Predictions

NFL.com gave a prediction for each team a free agent could be matched with this offseason, and the Broncos are projected to add a standout defender in the form of Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory.

Broncos Free Agent Rumors

Even though the Broncos had a solid overall defense last season, their pass rush was one of the worst in the league after trading Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller to the Los Angeles Rams. In fact, Denver finished dead last with a 31% pass rush win rate in 2021.

Bringing in a player like Gregory will certainly help fix that issue. The 29-year-old veteran suited up in 12 games with the Cowboys last season, recording 19 total tackles, three forced fumbles and an interception. He also had no issue getting to quarterbacks, proven by his 6.0 sacks and career-high 17 QB hits.

NFL.com's Marc Sessler said that Gregory's injury history and off-field issues may concern some fans, but his potential outweighs those risks. If he can stay healthy and out of trouble, Denver could find more success in 2022.

As it stands, FanDuel Sportsbook is giving the Broncos +2200 odds (No. 10) to win Super Bowl LVII next season.
