The Philadelphia Eagles had an unlucky 2019 season, highlighted by the numerous injuries. Many of the injuries were suffered in their receiving corps, which left them with few weapons available for Carson Wentz.

They went through their starters, backups and seemingly were signing anyone with a heartbeat down at the YMCA. This is a position in which they must add more depth, especially with Nelson Agholor now with the Las Vegas Raiders.

With that in mind, these are the three best remaining wide receivers on free agency that the Eagles should call up.

1. Taylor Gabriel

Taylor Gabriel's stats in 2019 took a dip due to injuries and poor quarterback play. However, the 5-foot-8, receiver can be a fantastic complementary piece in an offense that could use a burner on the outside. He would work well paired with big-bodied players like Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz.

2. Rashard Higgins

Rashard Higgins is another player that struggled in 2019 due to injuries and the team that surrounded him. He was able to play 13 games in 2018, though, and he finished with 572 yards, averaging 14.7 per reception. At just 25 years old, Higgins' prime years could still be ahead of him, and he could flourish in a new system.

3. Demaryius Thomas

While signing Demaryius Thomas is not as exciting as it used to be, this feels like a move Philadelphia would make. Signing the 32-year-old would give this offense another veteran that knows what it takes to win. While he did not get much attention with the New York Jets last season, Thomas was surprisingly productive, putting up 433 yards on 58 targets during his 11 games. He would be a cheap, reliable addition to this offense.
