Sunday's NBA schedule has eight games, including an exciting clash between the Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks are a 1.5-point home favorite and the over/under is set at 222 points.

Here's three of the best prop bets for the Hawks-Mavericks game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.

Hawks vs Mavericks Prop Bets Tonight

1. Luka Doncic - Assists: Over 9.5 (-122)

Luka Doncic has been one of the best facilitators in the NBA since he debuted back in 2018, but what he has been doing lately is insane. The 22-year-old has cashed the over on this prop in each of his last five games, averaging 12.6 assists per contest during that span. Doncic draws a perfect matchup to keep his streak going on Sunday night. The Hawks are giving up the most assists per game to opposing points guards this season (9.46) and the fourth-most assists overall (25.7). Trust Doncic to have another big game as he attempts to guide Dallas to a high seed in the NBA Playoffs.

2. Dorian Finney-Smith - Points: Under 10.5 (-110)

This number jumps out as a few points to high for Dorian Finney-Smith. The sixth-year pro is averaging just 10.1 points per game on the year and has scored less than 11 points in seven of his last nine games. More importantly, he is only shooting 37.0% from the floor during that span, which is well below his career mark of 43.7%. Finney-Smith rarely drives to the rim and gets most of his work done outside the perimeter. That gives him little upside unless he can get his shooting stroke back. It'd be best to avoid betting the over on his scoring prop until that happens.

3. First Half Total Points: Under 113.5 (-108)

Aside from player props, targeting a low-scoring first half lines up as a smart bet. This all comes down to how well the Mavericks have played when at home this season. Dallas is holding opponents to just 49.3 first half points per game in in front of its home crowd this season, which is the best mark in the NBA. It's worth noting that the under has also hit in 17 of the Mavericks' last 26 home games. Dallas simply loves to come out playing shutdown defense in order to make sure the game stays close at halftime. There's no reason to believe that stops tonight.
