Despite his ups and downs this season, Joe Mixon has been a key part in helping the Cincinnati Bengals advance to the AFC Championship Game. His postseason numbers may not be eye-popping, but that doesn't mean he won't have an impact this Sunday.

Bengals vs Chiefs Odds

The AFC Championship Game won't be easy for Mixon and the Bengals, with FanDuel Sportsbook listing them as the 7.5-point road underdogs against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bengals have surprised a lot of doubters this postseason and they'll need Mixon to be at the top of his game if they want to do it again. If you're looking to add excitement to the AFC Championship Game, here's a look at the three best Mixon-centric player props.

Joe Mixon Player Props

1. Joe Mixon - Rushing Yards: Under 56.5 (-122)

Mixon enjoyed one of his best rushing seasons to date this year, finishing the campaign with 75.2 rushing yards per game — the second-best average of his career. With that being said, the Bengals have cut down his opportunities in recent weeks. He's averaged 14.3 carries over his last three games (which lags behind his season average of 18.3) and has finished with 54 or fewer rushing yards in each of those outings. With how well Cincinnati's passing game has looked, it's tough imagining Mixon's carries increasing this weekend. He only had 46 rushing yards on 12 attempts the last time he faced the Chiefs, so expect more of the same in the AFC Championship Game.

2. Joe Mixon - Passing Yards: Over 29.5 (-114)

Even though Mixon's rushing numbers aren't what they once were, he has seen more pass-catching responsibilities over Cincinnati's last four games. He's averaged 6.5 targets over that stretch, converting them into 23 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown. When it comes to this prop, he's hit the over in three of his last games and has a great opportunity to continue that trend in Kansas City. The Chiefs surrendered the third-most receiving yards to running backs this season, giving up 52.2 yards through the air to the position per game. With the Bengals likely trailing, they could turn to the run more often and that's a great thing when it comes to Mixon and this prop.

3. Joe Mixon - Rushing Attempts: Under 15.5 (-122)

As mentioned above, Mixon's rushing opportunities have been limited in his last several games. While he's only finished with the under on this prop six times throughout the season (including playoffs), two of those instances have come in his last three outings. That's somewhat concerning for a player who's played at least 71% of offensive snaps in each of those games. It's clear that the passing game has taken over as the top priority for the Bengals, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Mixon finish with the under here once again.
