The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and its fans are definitely riding high following a Divisional Round win over the New Orleans Saints, but it isn't all good news.
Antonio Brown Injury Update
Wide receiver Antonio Brown will be getting an MRI on his knee after he spent a large majority of the second half on the sideline and was clearly dealing with some lingering pain.
Brown first signed with the Buccaneers back in October and has since become a solid No. 3 receiving option for quarterback Tom Brady. He has caught 45 of 62 targets this season for 483 yards and 4 touchdowns. In fact, he had caught a touchdown in four straight weeks prior to the Divisional Round.
It'll be important to keep an eye on Brown's status throughout the rest of the week and see if he is able to improve enough to play against the Green Bay Packers. The results of the MRI and Brown's ability to practice in the next few days will shed a lot of light on his ability to suit up.
The Buccaneers will need a healthy offense if they want to be able to keep up with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packer's powerful offense in the NFC Championship game.
They are currently 3.5-point road underdogs in that game, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL betting odds.
