Former Kansas City Chiefs running back LeSean McCoy made headlines on Thursday for his comments regarding offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. McCoy lobbed criticism at Bieniemy for his coaching style and said that's the reason he hasn't gotten a head-coaching gig despite consistently being a top candidate.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid wasn't going to stand by and let McCoy drag Bieniemy's name through the mud.

Reid made sure to highlight McCoy "wasn't the youngest pup" during his tenure in Kansas City and the RB may have found that "hard to take." It's obvious he wasn't a fan of McCoy's comments, so he responded with a subtle roast that essentially called the former All-Pro old and in denial.

McCoy is clearly still unhappy about how his season with the Chiefs ended. Though he was part of a Super Bowl team and made nine starts during the regular season, McCoy played just two total snaps during the postseason.

There's no doubt McCoy's pride took a hit when he was a non-factor on a championship-winning team, and it's apparent he's still carrying that hurt around with him. Hopefully, Reid's strong response puts this years-old issue to rest.
