Dallas Cowboys quarterback Andy Dalton appears on track to suit up for the team's Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings. This should give Dallas' offense a huge boost, as Dalton should be a big-time upgrade over the likes of Garrett Gilbert and Ben DiNucci.

Dalton has struggled since taking over for Dak Prescott, completing 43-of-73 attempts for 341 yards with 1 touchdown to 3 interceptions across his two starts – though he didn't finish his second start due to a concussion.

Still, the Red Rifle should provide a steady, veteran presence to a Cowboys' offense that sorely needs it. The Cowboys' offense is turning the ball over at the highest rate in the league (19.6%) and Dallas is averaging just 14.0 points per contest in the two games Dalton has missed.

For reference, the New York Jets are the only team in the league scoring fewer than 14.0 PPG. Getting mentioned in the same breath as an Adam Gase offense is rarely a good sign.

Hopefully Dalton's return can help the Cowboys right the ship, as they're still just 1.5 games behind the division-leading Philadelphia Eagles.
