Allen Lazard Injury Update Leaves His Fantasy Status Trending in Positive Direction Ahead of NFC Championship Game

On a team with few reliable offensive weapons in the receiving corps, Green Bay Packer fans held their breath when wide receiver Allen Lazard left last week's Divisional Round matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.
However, he did later return to that game and after limited participation in practice earlier this week, the receiver does not carry an injury designation on Sunday morning, which could indicate his status trending in a positive direction on the road against the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers.
Here is the Packers' Wednesday injury report.

Finding reliable receiving weapons beyond Davante Adams has proved to be a difficult task for Green Bay this season. While the Packers have spent plenty of draft picks on the position in recent offseasons, it has been the undrafted practice squad promotion of Lazard that has allowed him to earn his way into the WR2 role.
While Lazard was held without a target last week, as he dealt with his ankle injury, he has been active in the receiving game for the Packers to end the season. He racked up 17 targets during Green Bay's final two regular season games, resulting in nine receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown.

Despite being active, Lazard did not make the list for our Conference Championship fantasy rankings. He totaled just one catch for seven yards and a 21-yard rush against the 49ers when these two teams met earlier this year.
