Update (Sunday, 9/26, 2:47 p.m. EST): A.J. Brown has officially been ruled out of the game with a hamstring injury. Julio Jones should be viewed as a top-12 WR while Brown is sidelined.
Tennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown has gotten off to a slow start this season. He's caught just 7 of his 17 looks for 92 yards and a touchdown. Things might be getting worse before they get better.
Brown is on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury, and he's currently questionable to return against the Indianapolis Colts.
A.J. Brown Fantasy Outlook
Brown was one of our top buy-low candidates entering this week. He was still seeing a lot of volume and catching passes from a rock-solid QB in Ryan Tannehill. Brown was also getting 38.9% of his team's air yards. He's just too good to be getting that much volume and struggling like this.
But any extended absence would obviously change things. There's not much for fantasy managers to do until more information is released, but this is a storyline to monitor moving forward.
Julio Jones Fantasy Outlook
If Brown misses a game or two, Julio Jones' fantasy outlook would be set to explode. As mentioned above, Brown is seeing a 38.9% of his team's air yards entering this week. Jones, meanwhile, was already seeing 27.5%. He could be looking at a massive opportunity if Brown is out.
Jones would be a legit, no-doubt WR1 if Brown misses any time in the near future.
