After the Philadelphia 76ers stormed back to even the series in Game 2, the Toronto Raptors will look to bounce back in Thursday's Game 3 matchup. Toronto is a 1-point favorite in Game 3, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Since it's always good to get the opinion of an expert before placing a wager, here's what some from around the industry are saying about this Game 3 Eastern Conference matchup.
Raptors vs 76ers Predictions
Jack Maloney of CBS Sports is backing the Philadelphia 76ers to win Game 3 straight up at home. He notes the 76ers lost just 10 regular season games at home and that superb efforts from Philadelphia bench players like James Ennis and Greg Monroe will make it tough for Toronto to win on the road.
Sports Chat Place
The team at Sports Chat Place is picking the Philadelphia 76ers to take Game 3 at home on Thursday. They agree with the oddsmakers that this one is largely a toss up, but are leaning towards Philly because of home-court advantage and another day of rest for the hobbled Joel Embiid.
Christian Jope, of WSN, believes that Game 3 will go to the 76ers. Jope argues that Toronto's bench has proven to be a liability, only scoring 10 points in Game 1 and just five points in Game 2, and that Philadelphia should be able to exploit that again on Thursday.
Overall, all three of the featured experts believe Philadelphia has what it takes to win Game 3 outright at home and take a 2-1 series lead.
