Bryce Harper turned the baseball world and the internet upside down on Thursday afternoon when it was announced that he finally made his decision to sign with the Philadelphia Phillies

The 26-year-old superstar outfielder is a player that can instantly change a team's fortune, and that's exactly what he's done to the Phillies chances of winning the NL East, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Phillies are now the clear favorites to win the NL East at +185. Close behind is last season's division winner, the Atlanta Braves (+250), and Harper's former team, the Washington Nationals (+270).

Prior to Harper's signing, the Phillies odds to win the division were +230, followed by the Braves at +240 and the Nats at +250. The New York Mets' odds also dropped from +300 to +320.

Only time will tell if Harper's addition to the Phillies makes them a true World Series contender or if these odds are just reflective of the hype around his free agency and signing.
