Daniel Jones Stats

Daniel Jones completed 61 percent of his passes for 2,674 yards and 22 touchdowns in 11 games played in the 2018 season. He showed both great accuracy and arm strength throughout the year. Jones also shows great poise in the pocket, and he has just enough athleticism to extend plays or run with the ball if necessary.

He may not have the same kind of physical gifts that Kyler Murray and Dwayne Haskins have, but playing in Duke head coach David Cutcliffe's pro-style system arguably makes Jones more NFL ready than Murray and Haskins, who both played in spread passing attacks.

Mid-to-Late 1st Round

Daniel Jones Draft Predictions

New York Giants (No. 6), Jacksonville Jaguars (No. 7), Miami Dolphins (No. 13)

There are several teams in need of a quarterback in this year's draft, and it's unlikely that Jones slips into the second round without hearing his name called. The Jaguars may want to move on from Blake Bortles this offseason after a disastrous 2018 campaign that saw him benched for Cody Kessler. If the Dolphins opt to release Ryan Tannehill this offseason, then Miami would likely be looking to the draft for their quarterback of the future. New York will most likely look for Eli Manning's successor in the first round of the draft, and based on the Manning-Cutcliffe connection from their time together at Ole Miss, there's a chance they grab Jones when they're on the clock.
