Everyone already knows just how valuable running back James White is to the New England Patriots. But it's worth noting his most recent accomplishment, having the most career touches (455) without fumbling the ball.

This is a stat that dates all the way back to 2014, when White made his NFL debut – quite the number if you really sit back and think about it. And the Patriots' running backs as a whole were impressive this season, as Sony Michel only fumbled once on 216 touches while Rex Burkhead coughed it up twice on 71 touches.

White, however, mostly thrived in the passing game and that's where he was able to truly make his mark. He finished with the most catches (87), targets (123) and receiving touchdowns (7) on the team along with the second most receiving yard on the team with 751.

As the Patriots head into the playoffs, you have to wonder if HC Bill Belichik will use White more like he did in the first half of the season or down the stretch. His season-long fantasy owners must cringe when thinking about his lack of production during the majority of the fantasy playoffs. White was able to find the end zone once in each of the final two weeks of the season, but the Week 17 touchdown likely didn't help too many people, though.

We'll have to wait and see how the Patriots use him in their offensive gameplan in the coming weeks.
