Cooper and Elliott have absolutely unstoppable over their past three games, racking up an incredible 940 total yards combined between the two. While that's impressive by itself, the two have actually outgained a third of the teams in the league during that span.
Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper have combined for more yards (940) over the last three games than 10 NFL teams:— Bobby Belt (@BobbyBeltTX) December 12, 2018
Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Green Bay, Jacksonville, Miami, New Orleans, NY Jets, and Washington.
The fact that the two have outgained New Orleans really puts into perspective how dynamic the pair has been.
For the first time in franchise history, the Cowboys had a 400-yard passer (Dak Prescott 455), a 200-yard receiver (Amari Cooper 217) and a 100-yard rusher (Ezekiel Elliott 113) in one game.— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) December 12, 2018
Last team to do it: 2007 Bengals. Carson Palmer 401, Chad Johnson 209, Rudi Johnson 118.
That kind of production should come as no surprise for anyone who owns either player in their fantasy leagues. Cooper has seen at least eight targets in each of the past three games while Elliott has touched the ball at least 29 times during the same span.
Amari Cooper is averaging 107 receiving yards per game with Cowboys this season, which would be highest single-season average after changing teams in NFL history (min. 5 games with new team).— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) December 12, 2018
Since his Dallas debut in Week 9, Cooper also leads the NFL with 642 receiving yards.
The Cowboys still have to lock up the NFC East and will need to lean on Cooper and Elliott to do so. That being said, there's a very good chance either player could carry you to a fantasy league championship when it's all said and done.
