San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida is the latest fantasy starter to bite the dust in the week leading into most fantasy football playoffs, but not all hope is lost.

Even though Breida was officially ruled out of San Francisco's Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos, 49ers backup RBs Jeff Wilson and Matt Dayes are still positioned for bountiful fantasy performances.

And they're fresh for the taking on most fantasy leagues' waiver wires as of Wednesday morning. Of course, Alfred Morris is still in the backfield fold, but the veteran back was slated behind both Wilson and Dayes in the 49ers' latest depth chart.

With the success San Francisco has found in the 23-year-old Breida, the 49ers could be more inclined to feed the rock to the more youthful talent in their backfield. So, don't forget about the undrafted rookie in Wilson or second-year back in Dayes over the veteran journeyman Morris this week.

Not to mention, Wilson finished last week with 61 rushing yards on 15 attempts and 73 receiving yards on eight receptions behind Breida against the Seattle Seahawks.
