After a long and exciting college football season, bowl season is finally upon us. The casual fan may not care all too much about the minor bowl games leading up to the College Football Playoff. For bettors, however, the month of December can be quite the cash grab if they place their bets right.

The final two weeks of the year will feature five games with the lowest over/under totals of the bowl season, as no opening line for any matchup listed below is more than 47 total points.

Low over/unders are dependent on the teams playing, and this case is no exception thanks to the incredible defenses that will be featured in each matchup.

Mississippi State (1), Iowa (11), Miami (14), Northwestern (15), UAB (16), Utah (19), and Cal (24) finished the regular season with top-25 scoring defenses.  NIU, Wisconsin, and TCU may not have been able to limit their opponents in the same fashion as the teams mentioned above, but they still have respectable stop units. All three teams finished the year top-45 in the nation in total defense.
