Marlon Mack has been a game-changer for the Colts this year, giving them the kind of consistent rushing attack they've always wanted to compliment quarterback Andrew Luck

Unfortunately, his status for this week is in serious doubt.

Mack was diagnosed with a concussion in the Colts' win over the Dolphins last week and has yet to be cleared to return to practice.

While this doesn't rule him out for Week 13, it isn't a good sign as the Colts prepare to play the Jaguars on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.

Usually if a player isn't cleared from concussion protocol by Thursday, they don't play, so he still has a chance of suiting up. But if he can't go, running backs Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins stand to benefit the most.

Hines has rushed for 283 yards and a touchdown on 69 carries this year, while Wilkins has 318 yards and a touchdown on 57 attempts. The biggest advantage for Hines is in the passing game (40 catches for 248 yards and 2 TDs vs. 13 catches for 74 yards and 0 TDs), a role he figures to keep with or without Mack in there.

Clearly, if Mack can't go, Hines is the guy to have on your roster. However, don't expect him or Wilkins to put up the kinds of explosive rushing numbers (556 yards, 4 TDs, 5.1 YPC) Mack has this year.
