Colorado State moneyline bettors endured quite the crushing roller coaster of emotions on Saturday. With the Rams down 29-24 against Utah State, one play left in the game, sitting just inside the 35-yard line, their last bit of hope was a last-second Hail-Mary shot at the end zone.

The receivers broke downfield, all heading for the goal line, the throw went up and everyone held their collective breath. Then, miraculously, the receiver came down with the ball for a game-winning touchdown catch!

But not so fast. There was one of those pesky yellow flags laying on the field down the right sideline.

Bettors, after celebrating a huge win, again were forced to hold their breath and await the final call. The worst fears had come to fruition. The penalty was on the offense.

The receiver stepped out of bounds, therefore negating the catch and the win! The worst-case scenario for the Colorado State Rams and anyone who bet on them to win the game. You hate to see a ref have to decide the game like that, but it was the right call.

Although if I had the Rams moneyline, I wouldn't want to hear any of that either.
