[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 2-5 in parlay bets with a -$1.55 payout differential. Overall, we're down $126.23].

Game 1: Miami Heat @ Indiana Pacers (-5.5, -110), 7:10 p.m. EST

These two teams come into this game trending in opposite directions -- the Heat off a 13-point win in Brooklyn and the Pacers with a 12-point loss at home against the Rockets. The Heat are 3-13 against the spread in games after a win of 10 or more points over the last two seasons, while the Pacers are 25-12 ATS in games after a loss by 10 or more. Lay the points.

Game 2: New York Knicks @ New Orleans Pelicans (-10, -110), 8:10 p.m. EST

The Pelicans have dominated the Knicks, winning three of the previous four matchups between the two teams. It feels like the line could be 20 on this game, given the fact that the Pelicans rank sixth-best in offensive efficiency while the Knicks rank fourth-worst in that same category and fourth-worst in defensive efficiency. The Pelicans should run away with this one at home.

Game 3: Portland Trail Blazers (-1, -110) @ Minnesota Timberwolves, 8:10 p.m. EST

Portland has won six of its last nine meetings against the T-Wolves while going 8-1 against the spread, and Trail Blazers team is clicking on all cylinders to start the season. This will be an excellent matchup for Portland's backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum, and this team goes as they do. Look for the dynamic due to dominate on the road in Minnesota.
