It's was brutal last season to see Texans rookie D'Onta Foreman go down with a season-ending Achilles injury right after he had begun to have a breakout. The injury was serious enough that he had to start the 2018 season on the PUP list as well.

Now, finally nearly a year later, Foreman is back on the practice field.

In 10 games last season, Foreman had 78 carries for 327 yards and two touchdowns. Both of those touchdowns came in his final game of the season against the Cardinals, with his injury actually occurring on the second touchdown run.

Now that he's back on the practice field, the Texans have 21 days to activate him off the PUP list. If they do, Foreman will join a crowded Texans backfield currently led by Lamar Miller with 525 yards and two touchdowns. Foreman could get some carries off Alfred Blue, who currently sits at 297 yards on the year.

Foreman is just cleared to practice at the moment but it's nice to see him back on the roster. It's probably a bit too early to start picking him up on the waiver wire, but he might just be a huge sleeper come playoff time.
