Monday night's matchup features two teams that have not lived up to expectations this season, to say the least.

In fact, the superstar wideout on each team can pretty much sum up how their team's season has gone. Both Julio Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. have had their moments, but no one should consider their seasons equivalent from what you expect from a first- or second-round pick. They will both be on the big stage, eager to prove they should still be considered the top player at their position, but it's time to decide which star will shine the brightest.

Julio Jones: Let's be clear here, Jones has not had a bad season. He's sixth in catches and second in receiving yards, which just goes to show how high expectations were for him this season. As explosive as he's been, he might not have the huge game many are hoping he'll have. Believe it or not, the Giants are second against wideouts in fantasy football and have only given up four touchdowns in six weeks. Jones could have a similar day to what he's been having, but it's been that first touchdown that many continue to wait for.

Odell Beckham Jr: There's a lot to be said about OBJ. He's been a nuisance and a headache to the point where the team's owner has called him out on it yet again. He's struggled to get open and currently has as many passing touchdowns as has receiving touchdowns. Putting all of that aside, Beckham couldn't have a better matchup in front of him. The Falcons are 29th against wide receivers, according to ESPN, allowing the third-most passing yards and tied with the Buccaneers for most touchdowns allowed through the air. This is the chance for Beckham to not only get on the board, but to reward fantasy owners in a big way.

Verdict: Beckham has the luxury of playing against a defense that has given up 13 touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Jones, on the other hand, hasn't caught a TD all season but maybe this is the week Julio finally breaks through. They're both WR1s likely to have big games Sunday. Expect the TD to make the difference here.
