The Duel's doom-and-gloom forecast is practically turning into a door knock from the Grim Reaper of ranked college football teams. After two of our three highlighted underdogs from Week 7 not only smashed the spread, but also won outright by a combined 23 points between them. We're now batting better than 72 percent on upset alerts.
Here are the four college football teams that need to be on their toes in Week 8.
4. Illinois Fighting Illini (+25.5) @ No. 23 Wisconsin Badgers, Saturday, 12:00 p.m. EST

The Badgers are coming off a 38-13 beatdown from Michigan in Ann Arbor last weekend. Illinois is one of the worst teams in the Big Ten, and Wisconsin will surely be looking to get back on the good foot at home. But the Badgers winning by more than 24 points certainly seems generous for a program that has only beat the Illini by more than 24 points once in the past 14 years. Plus, the Badgers are an abysmal 1-5 against the spread this season.
3. No. 10 UCF Knights @ ECU Pirates (+21), Saturday, 7:00 p.m. EST

UCF has been a dicey team to bet against when it comes to covering spreads as the favorite this season. Well, at least until last week on the road against Memphis, where the Knights barely survived, by a single point, in a 31-30 comeback that went down to the wire. And outside of last season, UCF has struggled against the Pirates, especially on the road.
2. UConn Huskies (+33) @ No. 21 South Florida Bulls, Saturday, 7:00 p.m. EST

Similar to UCF, South Florida was rolling until last Friday night's one-point escape against an underwhelming Tulsa team. However, unlike ECU, UConn is arguably one of the worst Division I college football teams in the country, so a 33-point cover for USF's offense seems a little far-fetched -- even against the Huskies.
1. No. 12 Oregon Ducks (+3.5) @ No. 25 Washington State Cougars, Saturday, 7:30 p.m. EST

The Ducks were one of the winning underdogs from our Week 7 upset-alert list with an overtime win over Washington at home. And they're now heading into Pullman as 3.5-point underdogs again. Even though the Cougars are the only undefeated Power-Five team left against the spread, that accolade is in serious danger of coming to an end against Justin Herbert and Oregon on Saturday.
