Welcome back for another season of NBA basketball. And to kick it off, we've got two great rivalries to get the season going in the right direction.

Let's take a look at what's on the board this evening.

Game Info: Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics

Location: TD Garden – Boston, MA

Time: 8:05 p.m. EST

Odds: According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Celtics are 5-point favorites (-110) with their moneyline to win outright at -210. The Sixers moneyline to win outright sit at a very tempting +176.

Interesting Stat(s)

  • The Celtics went 3-1 against the 76ers last season with a margin of victory of 10.7.
  • The Celtics also won last year's second-round playoff series, 4-1.
  • Brad Stevens is 4-1 ATS in season openers.

Best Prop Bet(s):

  • Under 23.5 Points for Joel Embiid (-110): In nine career meetings (including playoffs) against the Celtics, Embiid has only topped 23.5 points three times. Reason being, Aron Baynes of the Celtics has really given him a hard time in this matchup.
  • Over 9.5 Points for Markelle Fultz (+105): Sure, it's a tough matchup for the Sixers, but 9.5 points are nothing for a guy who is projected to play about 29 minutes tonight.

Game Info: Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors

Location: Oracle Arena – Oakland, CA

Time: 10:35 p.m. EST

Odds: According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Warriors come into tonight's matchup as 13.5-point favorites with -1200 moneyline odds to win outright. OKC has +810 moneline odds to win outright with point guard Russell Westbrook set to miss the game after minor knee surgery in September.

Interesting Stat(s):

  • The two teams split the season series last year, with OKC winning the first two.
  • Stephen Curry or Kevin Durant accounted for all seven of the top point totals in games against OKC last season.

Best Prop Bet(s):

  • Golden State Warriors -4.5 (-116) First Quarter Spread: OKC is playing with a new collection of players, so you'd expect there to be some rust out of the gate. The Warriors were clicking on all cylinders during the preseason and they should jump out to a quick lead tonight.
  • Jerami Grant – Over 9.5 Points (-145): Pay attention to the injury news on Steven Adams going into this game. If he's out, 9.5 points would be the gimme of the century.
