The New York Yankees get a jolt of energy tonight as Didi Gregorius and Aaron Hicks return to the lineup against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Their timely return comes as the Yankees hold a two-game lead for home-field advantage in the American League Wild Card game. With three days to go in the MLB season, the timing couldn't have come at a better time.

Gregorius' injury seemed to be the more serious of the two, as there was a possibility he'd have to be shut down for the season. Didi will bat sixth tonight and reclaim his spot at shortstop.

Hicks had a hamstring issue he was dealing with prior to exiting Monday's game. A few days off have apparently helped the cause and he'll be batting third and playing center field.

The Yanks have an uphill battle with or without these two key players as they try to move past the Wild Card round, and into the ALDS.
