After watching rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield lead the Browns to a comeback victory in Thursday nights game, it became clear to everyone, the job now belonged to Mayfield. Clear to everyone including veteran Tyrod Taylor, who left the Thursday night game in the second quarter due to a concussion and has yet to be cleared for next Sunday.

While head coach Hue Jackson refused to discuss who the starter would be moving forward following the game, it seems that Taylor is making things easy on the head coach and taking himself out of the running.

It's being reported that Taylor will officially yield the starting job to Mayfield moving forward and become the team's backup. Jackson won't make the final decision until Monday at the earliest, but we all knew what was coming, Taylor is just getting out ahead of the circus and confirming what we all expected.
