LeBron James' off-season move to the Los Angeles Lakers single-handedly stole the LaVar-Lonzo Ball show from the Lakers this summer, and in a hurry too.

But Lonzo finally has a chance to fight his way back into the LA spotlight now that he's been "100 percent cleared" by the Lakers medical staff.

With other off-season additions like point guard Rajon Rondo to the Lake Show, Ball may have been feeling a little bit of the competition heat lit under him while rehabbing his knee surgery over this summer.

Even though the former No. 2 overall pick hasn't worked his way back to full contact-ready practices quite yet, there's nothing that stirs the fantasy scoring pot quite like some old fashion competition for a starting spot between a young phenom and a seasoned vet.

If Lonzo ends up securing the starting role for the Lakers at the point, you can rest assured he'll be playing with a little more urgency knowing Rondo is behind him ready to take over.
