Much to the surprise of Eagles fans and fantasy owners alike, Darren Sproles was listed on Philadelphia's Week 2 injury report. Unfortunately, the veteran back's status for Sunday's tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend is becoming murkier by the day.

As was the case on Wednesday, Sproles was once again listed on the injury report and did not practice again Thursday.

It's possible he plays, but Sproles owners should definitely err on the side of caution. Hamstring injuries can be tricky for most players and, taking Sproles' age into account, any further aggravation of the muscle could put a player on the shelf for a while.

If he's still available, Sproles owners should seriously consider picking up Eagles third-string back Corey Clement, just in case those touches are vacated this weekend. The second-year back should see some of Sproles' workload and is capable of mirroring his production based on Philly's running back rotation.
