It's always nice to be a fan favorite. Normally when that happens, it's for the franchise you play for. But that wasn't the case with Andy Dalton in Buffalo on Sunday.

While Dalton has never taken a snap for the Buffalo Bills, he still managed to help them make the playoffs last year and snap their postseason drought by connecting with Tyler Boyd for a 49-yard touchdown against the Ravens in Week 17. That score knocked Baltimore out of the playoffs and opened the door for Buffalo to sneak in.

Prior to the Bills' preseason matchup against Dalton and the Bengals, the QB got a standing ovation from the Buffalo crowd.

Beyond the ovation, Bills fans have gone above and beyond to show Dalton they appreciate him. First, they donated more than $100,000 to his charity, and now this. Dalton will always be considered a legend in Buffalo, even though he's never played a down for them.

While Cincinnati Bengals fans may appreciate Dalton to a degree, there's no one that loves him more than the Bills Mafia.
