Another Randy Gregory report forecasting trouble around the corner should have Cowboys fans asking only one question: "How many games will he be out for this time?"


Just when you thought he could have been over the hump too. 

Gregory's problems with substance abuse follow him all the way back to his college career at Nebraska, and not much has changed since he made the transition to the NFL. Through two seasons with the Cowboys, the former second-round pick has played just 14 total games thanks to multiple failed drug tests. 

When on the field, Gregory is one the most athletic talents for Big D. The Dallas defense is below average to begin with, and potentially losing Gregory to yet another suspension is only going to leave them more exposed in the pass-rush department.


Playing in the NFC East means facing the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles, the two-headed Giants offensive monster in Odell Beckham Jr. and Saquon Barkley and a new Alex Smith-led Redskins air assault. 

If for some reason you've already gambled on the Cowboys defense in your fantasy draft, you might want to consider other options as soon as possible in light of the Gregory situation.
