The San Francisco 49ers have rattled off three straight wins to move to 6-5 on the season. Do-it-all wide receiver Deebo Samuel has been at the center of the action, scoring five rushing and receiving touchdowns in that span.

Unfortunately, Samuel left the 49ers Week 12 win over the Minnesota Vikings early with a potential groin injury.

The 49ers received some mixed news around their leading wide receiver on Monday.

Deebo Samuel Injury Update

Samuel will have to undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the exact nature of his injury. The early expectations reveal Samuel may miss a little bit of time, but this isn't considered a major injury.

San Francisco travels on the road for the next two weeks, including a tough Week 13 matchup against NFC West rivals in the Seattle Seahawks. It's unclear how many games Samuel will potentially miss, but the 49ers will have to make up for his team-leading 56 receptions and 1,006 receiving yards.

Samuel has also added 203 yards and 5 TDs on the ground in 2021.

Currently, the 49ers hold favorable -260 odds to make the playoffs, according to NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
