If the Baltimore Ravens want to be legitimate Super Bowl contenders, their passing game will need to improve. But it's unfair to heap all of the blame on Lamar Jackson in that regard, as his peers at quarterback, like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes, are surrounded by much more talent than he is.

Addressing the wide receiver position seems like the quickest fix to help get Jackson and this passing game over the top. Luckily for Baltimore, the 2021 free-agent WR class is absolutely loaded. Here are three WRs the Ravens should target in free agency.

3. Marvin Jones Jr.

Marvin Jones Jr. wouldn't be nearly as exciting as the other two names on this list, but he'd make a lot of sense. And following some comments from GM Eric DeCosta, it seems like Baltimore might not be looking to invest in the position as much as some fans had hoped. That makes a low-cost option like Jones an excellent fit. Still just 30 years old, Jones is a big-bodied WR whose ability to consistently win 50-50 balls would bring a brand-new element to this team. At 6-foot-4, he towers over the likes of Marquise Brown (5-foot-9), Willie Snead (5-foot-11) and Devin Duvernay (5-foot-10). Coming off a 978-yard, 9-TD season, Jones would be a great way to upgrade at WR without breaking the bank.

2. Allen Robinson

Of course, it'd be hard to pass up on the man most Ravens fans are clamoring for: Allen Robinson. The 27-year-old is probably the best receiver on the market, coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 1,140 yards and 6 TDs. Famously, he's established himself as one of the best wide receivers in football despite catching passes from the likes of Blake Bortles, Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky. It'd be hard not to imagine what he could do with a QB of Lamar Jackson's ilk. Robinson would form a dangerous one-two punch with Marquise Brown, and the two are different enough to not be repetitive.

1. Chris Godwin

But Chris Godwin takes the top spot here because he fits Baltimore's timeline perfectly. At 24 years old, Godwin would be a fixture in Baltimore alongside fellow 24-year-old Lamar Jackson for years to come. He was in and out of the lineup due to injuries this year, but Godwin showed what he's truly capable of in 2019, racking up 1,333 yards and 9 TDs in 14 games. If Tampa Bay lets a talent like Godwin get away, Baltimore should call his agent immediately. Godwin is one of the most well-rounded wide receivers in the league and he'd instantly transform this WR corps.
