The New York Football Giants have plenty of areas that need addressing as they enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Picking at No. 4 overall, they are in a great spot to get a top player from a number of positions. While picking this high in the draft surely has its advantages, the main downside is that you cannot afford to miss on that pick.

With that in mind, let's take a look at three players the Giants should void with their first-round pick.

1. Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State

Jeffrey Okudah is a phenomenal player and the Giants could use some help at cornerback, but it is not their biggest need. They did a good job of finding a solution in free agency with the signing of James Bradberry to be the team's No. 1 corner. Outside of that, the Giants have invested heavily in cornerback the last few drafts, even selecting Georgia's Deandre Baker in Round 1 last year. No one is debating Okudah's talent, but for the Giants, it's not the pick they need to make.

2. Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

Similar to cornerback, the Giants have invested a lot of draft capital in interior offense lineman recently, and because of that, it's one of the few really solid aspects of their defense. With plenty of talent and depth there for the long haul, drafting Derrick Brown, despite him arguably being the best interior lineman in the draft, would be a luxury, not a need.

3. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Jerry Jeudy was mocked to the Giants for a long time throughout the 2019-20 NFL and college football seasons. While many may think the Giants don't need a wide receiver, Golden Tate isn't getting any younger, Sterling Shepard has concussion concerns and Darius Slayton is still somewhat unproven, despite a great rookie season. However, risking it with those guys is going to have to be the path they take, they have much more pressing needs on defense and on the offensive line. They must avoid taking Jeudy or any other top receiver with their first pick, no matter how tempting it is to give Daniel Jones a shiny new weapon.
