The Kansas City Chiefs are fresh off a Super Bowl win and an MVP-worthy performance from their quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He will need to continue playing well for the Chiefs to have a chance at repeating as champions. However, there are other players that are capable of stepping up and elevating this team further.

With that in mind, here are three Chiefs dark horses to win NFL MVP in 2020, with all odds according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

3. Damien Williams, RB (+20000)

A lot would need to go right for Damien Williams to win the MVP, but it's possible. For one, he's been ridiculously productive when this team needs him to be, averaging 108.0 yards from scrimmage per game while scoring 10 total touchdowns across 5 postseason appearances with KC. He'd also need to retain the job despite the team's investment in Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Again, it's far from likely, but he does have an outside shot.

2. Tyreek Hill, WR (+20000)

Tyreek Hill probably has the most realistic shot out of anyone on this list. While no wide receiver has taken home MVP honors since Jerry Rice did it 1987, Hill might be the most difficult player to cover in the league right now. In his first season with Mahomes at the helm, Hill tallied 1,630 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns. His numbers dropped the following year due to injuries, but if Hill can stay healthy, the league's most electric wideout could be an intriguing dark horse value.

1. Travis Kelce, TE (+25000)

Travis Kelce continues to be the most reliable, top receiving weapon for the Chiefs. He has totaled at least 80 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in four straight seasons, and he's amassed at least 1,225 receiving yards in both years playing alongside Mahomes. Of course, Mahomes would almost certainly get the nod over his tight end, but if he were to miss a few games, and Kelce had a career year, there's a chance Kelce could become the first tight end in history to win the MVP award.
