Thursday's NBA slate includes the Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets on the early TNT double-header at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Celtics (34-26) are up to a 9-point favorite over the struggling Nets (31-28), and the over/under is 214.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Here's three of the best prop bets for the Celtics-Nets game, courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook.
Celtics vs Nets Props
1. Jayson Tatum - Rebounds: Over 7.5 (-128)
Brooklyn has fallen off to No. 17 in the league in defensive efficiency ratings while losing 12 of their last 14 games the past month. That includes a 126-91 Boston beatdown of Brooklyn on Feb. 8 during the Celtics 9-game winning streak. Tatum's minutes were limited in that game as Boston emptied the bench, but he'll come out of the All-Star break strong with favorable matchups inside.
2. 2 or More Made Threes in First 3 minutes - No (-106)
Boston has held seven of its last 10 opponents to under 100 points, and the Nets are severely shorthanded with Durant, Simmons and Irving out. Both teams rank top-7 in opponent's 3-point FG% and the Celtics pace of play is among the slowest in the league. Fewer attempts and long-range baskets in a slow start.
3. Seth Curry - Points: Over 15.5 (-112)
New Nets guard Seth Curry is the team's leading scorer while the teams stars are sidelined, and he's a high-volume 3-point shooter. He's taken at least six 3's in his last four games, and Curry will be counted on to shoot and score more as the game settles in and especially if the Nets are trailing as expected.
