Marquise Brown Exits With Foot Injury

Cardinals star wideout Marquise Brown exited the Week 6 loss with a left foot injury that will likely knock him out multiple weeks. By video, the Pro Football Docs have significant worry for a Lisfranc sprain, which would likely land him on IR.

At the very least, Brown is out for Thursday’s matchup against the Saints, but Arizona has DeAndre Hopkins back off suspension. Look for Rondale Moore to receive more targets in Brown’s absence.

San Francisco Injury Woes Continue

The 49ers lost by 14 to the Falcons and lost two more key starters to injury. In the first half, Charvarius Ward exited with a groin injury and Mike McGlinchey suffered a calf strain. Both did not return and likely won’t be available next week against the Chiefs.

San Francisco is now down seven starters on the defensive end, including star pass rusher Nick Bosa – who missed the contest with a groin injury. If Bosa suits up against Patrick Mahomes and Co. next week, he won’t be at full effectiveness.

Jaylen Waddle Injures Left Shoulder

Second-year wideout Jaylen Waddle broke out for 129 yards on 6 catches against the Vikings, but suffered a left shoulder subluxation on his final catch. Waddle returned to the game, despite the score being out of hand, which is a good sign for his availability next week against the Steelers.

Waddle will likely miss practice time and play with a shoulder strap for added stability. Tyreek Hill, who battled foot and quad injuries in practice, had 12 catches for 177 yards.

Terron Armstead’s status is the big one to watch this week. He missed the contest with turf toe, but will be a key addition to protect Tua Tagovailoa next week.

Bye May Not Solve Rams' O-Line Issues

The Rams suffered yet another injury on the offensive line in Week 6. Left tackle Joe Noteboom was carted to the locker room with a potential Achilles injury.

Los Angeles gets a bye in Week 7, then faces the 49ers in Week 8. The defending Super Bowl champions hope to have Brian Allen back from his knee injury, but David Edwards and Tremayne Anchrum aren’t returning anytime soon.

Myles Garrett Aggravates Shoulder Sprain

Three-time All-Pro Myles Garrett left Sunday’s loss late in the fourth quarter with an apparent left shoulder injury. After the game, Garrett told reporters he aggravated the left shoulder sprain he suffered during his rollover car crash prior to Week 3.

The Browns star pass rusher has already said he will play this week against Baltimore, but it’s likely an issue that will limit his effectiveness.
