Zac Taylor Throws Major Shade at NFL in Postgame Comments

There's a saying that when people make plans, God laughs. When the NFL makes plans, however, it's the Cincinnati Bengals who get the last laugh.
It happened again on Sunday as the Bengals whipped the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, scuttling the NFL's plans for a potential alternate-site AFC Championship Game between the Bills and Kansas City Chiefs.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor didn't sound too sorry for the NFL after the game.
#Bengals coach Zac Taylor: “It is tough because they have to formulate the plans for coin tosses, formulate the plans for neutral site games & we just keep screwing it up for everybody. I hate that for people who have to endure all the logistical issues, we keep screwing it up.”

With his tongue firmly in cheek, Taylor jokingly apologized to the NFL for wasting their efforts. In the end, the league's contingency plans were all for naught.
Cincinnati has to feel good bout spoiling those efforts, especially when the NFL appeared to be pushing for Buffalo to advance to the next round. Instead, the Bengals will now travel to Kansas City for an AFC Conference Championship rematch with the Chiefs.
After erasing a double-digit deficit to reach the Super Bowl in last year's game there, Cincy has to like its chances at Arrowhead. The Bengals are only listed as 1.5-point road underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds, suggesting the game is a toss-up. It also helps that Patrick Mahomes is dealing with an ankle injury suffered against the Jacksonville Jaguars during the Divisional Round.
Suffice it to say, Kansas City shouldn't start making any Super Bowl plans just yet. If they do, Cincinnati will surely ruin them.
