Rob Gronkowski officially called it a career last week when he took to Instagram to announce his retirement from the NFL, after nine years with the New England Patriots.
Since his announcement, there have been rumors swirling left and right about what his next move will be. We've heard everything from acting in Hollywood to becoming a color analyst on Monday Night Football and, of course, wrestling in the WWE.
Earlier this week, WWE Superstar Brat Wyatt was asked by TMZ about Gronkowski and said he would love to fight Gronk, only further adding fuel to the rumors of an eventual appearance in the WWE.

Wyatt himself is one of the WWE's bigger Superstars. Although these Gronk-to-WWE rumors aren't exactly coming out of thin air. He's made appearances with WWE before, including being part of a match at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017.
Even WWE heiress Stephanie McMahon told Gronk, "Doors are always open @WWE" on Twitter after his retirement from the NFL.
Congratulations @RobGronkowski, this is a tremendous honor by one of my favorite organizations, @USOMetroDC, dedicate to serve those who serve and their families. Thank you for all that you do and good luck with your retirement! Doors are always open @WWE! :))) https://t.co/nLYssgCJdV

They always say, where there's smoke there's fire, and there's certainly enough smoke to think a Gronk appearance on WWE in some capacity is in the works. We could find out as early as Wrestlemania 35, which takes place at MetLife Stadium on April 7.
