Now that teams have shaken off any rust from the All-Star Break, the MLB turns its attention to the return of the Field of Dreams Game.

The inaugural eventย was a resounding success in 2021, and something that baseball fans immediately circled on the 2022 calendar. Here's everything you need to know about this year's MLB Field of Dreams game on Thursday, Aug. 11.

Who is Playing in the Field of Dreams Game?

The 2022 MLB Field of Dreams Game features of pair of National League teams with deep historical ties, the Cincinnati Reds and Chicago Cubs. Nick Lodolo is currently listed as the Reds' starter while Drew Smyly gets the nod for the Cubs.

What Time is MLB Field of Dreams Game 2022?

The 2022 MLB Field of Dreams Game has a first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET. It will once again be played at a special venue constructed in Dyersville, Iowa. This field is right near the Field of Dreams movie set that's featured in the 1989 film. The park's most prominent feature is the corn field located right outside of the outfield wall, along with old-school lighting poles.

What Channel is the MLB Field of Dreams Game On?

Fans eager to tune into the 2022 Field of Dreams game can catch the action live on FOX, FOX Deportes or the FOX Sports app. The broadcast features a few highlights, notably a pair of stars mic'd up during the live action.
