Week 13 of the NFL season finally brings us our first games in the month of December. As most fantasy players know, at this point in the season, bad weather can severely impact fantasy football upside, particularly in the passing game.

And it looks like that could be the case this week, in the matchups between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers and New York Giants, and Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders.

This is a bummer, as weather notwithstanding, all three of these games looked like they could hold serious fantasy value. Fantasy owners saw just how impactful windy weather can be last week in New England, when Tom Brady was held to 190 passing yards, Dak Prescott only threw for 212 and the teams scored a combined 22 points.

In Jacksonville, this update isn't concerning enough for you to bench elite options like Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and DJ Chark, but you might want to consider finding a replacement for a WR3 like Dede Westbrook.

Similarly, the Chiefs wideouts have too much upside too consider benching Tyreek Hill, but the wind makes it a lot harder to trust a pure deep threat like Mecole Hardman.

The heavy rain could also limit both the Cleveland Browns and Steelers upside in Pittsburgh.

Additionally, the weather could limit the Green Bay Packers' passing attack against a shaky New York Giants secondary. It looks like it's going to snow, and the last time Aaron Rodgers played in such conditions, he threw for 233 passing yards and zero touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers in Week 10.

At the end of the day, fantasy owners should keep their elite options in the lineup, even in bad weather. But it might be worth looking for an alternative to some more low-end players in Week 13.
