Armed with an already-elite defense, the Washington Football Team came into the offseason with some clear needs on the other side of the ball. The organization wasted little time addressing those issues. Washington upgraded at quarterback with Ryan Fitzpatrick and added a dynamic playmaker to pair with Terry McLaurin in Curtis Samuel.

But it doesn't sound like the Football Team is done, either. Washington is reportedly interested in signing slot receiver Adam Humphries as well.

He's not the flashiest signing by any means, but Humphries would be a really solid fit.

The 27-year-old wideout burst onto the scene in 2018, recording an 816-yard, 5-touchdown campaign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His next two years with the Tennessee Titans were marred by injuries, though, as he was only able to play a combined 19 games.

That should means he comes at a significant discount, however. With McLaurin and Samuel using their blazing speed on the outside, Humphries could do some really nice things in the slot provided he can stay on the field.
