The Seattle Seahawks traded for defensive lineman Carlos Dunlap midway through last season and his impact was felt immediately. The team recently brought the veteran back on a two-year deal worth $16 million in hopes that he can be a forced to be reckoned with along the d-line.

Dunlap also recently announced a number switch from No. 43 to No. 8. Seattle is definitely excited for their defensive lineman as the official team Twitter account posted a hype video regarding Dunlap's number switch.

It's going to be weird seeing a defensive lineman wearing a single-digit number, but players across the league are switching it up after the jersey rule was changed this offseason. Dunlap will wear the No. 8 for the first time since he was dominating as a Florida Gator back in college.

In fact, Dunlap racked up 9.0 sacks and 6 pass breakups during his junior season before getting drafted in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. Seattle is hoping the 32-year-old playmaker can bring back some of that tenacity for the upcoming season.

Dunlap flashed some of his two-time Pro Bowl playmaking abilities in his eight games played with the Seahawks last season. He ended the year with 5.0 sacks and 2 passes defended during that stretch in Seattle.

For now, Seahawks fans can just put this hype video on loop as they begin to look forward to Week 1 kickoff in the fall. Seattle currently has the 9th-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +2300, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
