Onside kicks almost became a thing of the NFL's past lately, so this is as good a time as any to remember one of the ultimate onside kick backfires of all-time.

The "fastest touchdown in NFL history" occurred during a rivalry game between two bitter NFC East foes, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, and it all went down like this.

Cowboys Fastest Touchdown in NFL History

Definitely not Andy Reid's brightest moment, but his career has come a long way since this 2003 blunder. Sometimes that's what you get when you try to be too slick. The Cowboys and Randall Williams weren't having any of that, however.

The anticipation, the vertical, and the composure to take the botched attempt at trickery to the house all combined for a thing of beauty for Dallas fans. In turn, this moment spelled misery for Philly.

What a way to start a football game on the road, taking a score back to the house only three seconds in! These two classic NFC East rivals are set to meet next on Nov. 1 in Philadelphia.
