Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are two of the best to ever do it at their respective positions. The Baltimore Ravens were lucky enough to have them on the same team at the same time for a large portion of their careers.

Having the two of them helped create one of the most consistently dominant defenses of the era. And when you go up against Peyton Manning, a dominant defense is your only hope of coming away with a victory.

However, in this instance, it seems the Ravens defense was just a little too good. As Peyton Manning threw an errant pass, Reed was prepared to make the interception, but that was thwarted when Lewis stepped in beforehand and knocked the ball down, not knowing Reed was in position to create the turnover.

It ended up not being too big of deal since it caused 4th down regardless, but to take away a guy like Reed's chance to bring an interception back for a touchdown is definitely a missed opportunity.
