Every once in awhile there are freak athletes whose skills and athleticism transcend their positions. A classic example of this is with former Dallas Cowboys offensive guard Larry Allen. This athleticism was on full display when he lit up a New Orleans Saints defender.

After Troy Aikman's pass was tipped and intercepted at the line of scrimmage, it looked like the Saints' linebacker had an easy run to the end zone for six points. However, Allen showed how athletic he is.

The 325-pound lineman took a perfect angle and turned on the boosters, looking like a predator tracking down his prey. Making the tackle down the sideline, Allen saved six points and made one of the most impressive plays following an interception that you may ever see.

Aside from an impressive tackle, Allen has plenty of other honors to his name. He is a Super Bowl champion, 11-time Pro Bowler, seven-time first-team All-Pro selection, and he was voted to the NFL All-Decade teams for the 90's and 2000s, along with the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team. He is an impressive player who was capable of much more than preventing sacks.
